Woo-woo!
I'm so excited, when me and Mamma got home from work today and opened the front door there they were- my shutterfly photobook, AND the Delta Society pet partners handbook! Mamma has been reading through it all night, learning all there is to learn about how to make us a successful team. She said we might not end up taking a group class afterall since this book is so thorough (and since she trains a lot better, I mean "differently" than most other trainers in the area). Ive only been to 2 training classes and that was when people at mamma's work didn't have their dogs with them those days and used me to work with. It was pretty fun, lemmie tell ya, so many yummy treats! But its hard work using my brain for so long.. Mamma said though that we are going to take a class at her work TOGETHER on the 19th! Its an intermediate obedience class, so nothing directly related to therapy dog, but she said it mimicks "real world" situations so will be good practice for both of us. The class officially starts on the 12th but apparently mom is already scheduled to go "Whale Watching" that day so we will have to make up that first session in September. Whatevs. But now I wonder if she will be taking me to hunt, I mean, "watch" for whales... Hmm, she's shaking her head no......... Well, we'll see about that.. Well, its about time for my dinner, better head out.
Woos,
*Royal*

Now why would she want to whale watch when she can stay home and Royal watch? Oh well, maybe when she gets home she will appreciate you more.
We are impressed with your future as a therapy dog. Mom started training Roxie but, after adopting a rescue and taking in some rescue fosters and adopting another rescue, Roxie's training got lost along the way.
Good luck on your work to become a therapy dog! We know you can do it!
