Hi all, Royal here. Well, Iggy has gone back to Phoenix where he came from. The good folks who rescued him to begin with have taken him back to help find him that perfect home once and for all. Mom and dad drove down to Los Angeles to meet someone from the rescue to transfer Iggy. It was very sad for mom especially, but she knows they love him as much as she does and are dedicated to finding him a home. We love you and will miss you always Iggy.
We have all been pretty busy here with the move and such, so I wanted to share a bunch more photos mom has taken over the last month or so, before and after the move. I think I mentioned in a recent post, we were hosting our friend Niko for a couple week so mom could help crate train him for her friend before we left, so here are some fun photos of Niko, the "Chinese beagle"!:
as you can see, he likes to sleep- a lot! but dont think he cant run at the dog park, cause he sure can move when he wants to!
now some photos of our move and the new house:

here are 3 of the kitties (can you spot the 3rd?? hint: shes under the towel!), plus the fish in that orange bucket there on the ground. they all rode up front with mom. the other 2 kitties rode in the truck with dad

on the road! well, at a rest stop. :) Im in the trunk where its cooler- and theres more room! Iggy was in his crate in the back seat taking up most of the space, Brock mostly laid there in the back next to Iggy's crate, and Alki slept between the back and the trunk, and I was in the trunk most of the trip- as usual. it is my favorite place to ride!

here is Brock in his calming cap- he gets excited in the car when he can see we are going somewhere fun (anywhere that isnt a freeway!) so this helps him stay calm and fall asleep! she also sprayed D.A.P. in the car to help keep us all calm- I think it helped!
photos from the new house!:

playing in our MUCH bigger yard!

TAG Brock- youre it!!

flying around the corner!

me ready to pounce!

Brock in his new favorite sleeping spot- in the corner next to mom's desk
the kitties!:

here they are enjoying their own bedroom! (us dogs have our own room too)

dinner time

pynch found a nice bed

felix enjoys the sun

cats in a cage- they all had to be contained when the comcast guy came. as you can see none of them mind!

just chilling
and here are some photos of Brock and my trip to our new closest dog park. it is really small (2.5 acres) compared to what we are used to, but this is the biggest sized park in the city (most of the dog parks here are 2-2.5 acres). it is laid out nicely so we can really run, but when there are more than a few dogs there it is way too crowded. thankfully mom is able to take us during the weekdays so we can avoid the crowds! I really miss having a lake and river to play in though......... mom is trying to get us a new kiddie pool for the yard and might even bring one to the dog park. anyone know where to buy one???
until then, I make my own pool:

shortly after this I went to play in the water bucket again.
Well, I hope you enjoyed catching up with us. Mom started skool this week so she might be slow on blogging still, but we will try to keep her on task!!

Woos! I have never moved, that looks as though it would be difficult with all of you! I am sure that Iggy will find a great furever home and you did what was best for all. Don't let Mom beat herself up about it. Enjoy your new digs, hope you find a pool soon, the place looks very pretty with cold mountains and stuff...

I was going to say all kinds of things about the great pix of you all and wishing Iggy well and something about all the cats and isn't Niko cute... but... I'm fixated on those pix of Mt. Shasta. Is that SNOW up there?!?!!? SNOW?!?!? Sigh. Can I come over please?!?!
Love,
Ammy
Great pictures! Wilbur is totally jealous of the cats' room. Your yard looks really great too.
All of the dog parks in Texas were small like that too. The biggest was 3 acres but they had kiddie pools and we would hog them. We have bought kiddie pools at Wal-Mart and also at Petsmart. The Wal-Mart ones are bigger, but usually you have to get them at the beginning of the summer before they sell out.

Oh Royal, those are terrific pictures! Woo all look wonderful (but woo are the most handsomest one, by far!) The cat room is pretty cool. Didn't realize woo lived with so many of them, I'm jealous. I wanted to trade Jack for a kitty of my own, but mom said no dice. We're keeping Iggy in our thoughts, he's on his way to the perfect home for him!

I'll tell my Khousin Abby to be on the lookout!
She lives in The Blast Furnace known as Phoenix!
