slacking!

eek! Ive been slacking! so, real quick before bed..

fri: NOTHING; we were running errands ALL day & I was exhausted and cranky when we got home with no patience to handle barky dogs. felt bad but didnt want to end up being short with the dogs, especially during an outburst, which I could sense coming on in Alki--shes been very "ON" lately.. hopefully with another week of good, consistent exercise she will improve. need to walk her more this week but I have a test on thurs & fri so might not have a ton of time til fri after class. we are also going to the gym again so trying to work that into the schedule and get into a consistent routine..

sat: dog park with the boys, fetch with alki in yard. some crazy girl with a fearful-aggressive beagle that she hit every time it tried telling another dog to get away (cause it was SCARED and did NOT want to be at a dog park!) took a light slap at royal for playing nicely with her dog!!! he didnt notice but I was livid! told her DO NOT HIT MY DOG and leashed him and left immediately. another woman there voiced her displeasure with how the girl was acting thankfully. I can only hope the girl and her poor dog left soon after.. aside from that both the boys were in a great mood and had a fabulous time. it wasnt very busy until right before we left.

sun: NOTHING. pouring rain all day--cleaned the house!

mon: dog park with boys, fetch with alki in yard--plus baths all around! had to deal with morons at the park but they were easy to avoid and Royal met a fabulous young dobe that he played with quite a bit!

tues (today!): fetch with alki in the yard; finally remembered to time it today, 15 mins. seemed she got tired faster than yesterday which is good. also snuggled on the couch with her in the eve. dogs all hung out in the house with me most of the day as well.

also: Brock has been more on edge than normal lately as well.. Plan to kick up the walks for everyone and see if this helps their reactivity.
