bad blogger

well I've been bad! after that crazy day last week, it took me a while to get back into the swing of things.. we have 2 foster kittens now also which took some time to adjust to as well. Im very habitual and routine, and when anything gets out of wack I get a little nutty and need to rework my system.

Ive been bad and havent done much this week.. I've played fetch with Alki at least 3 times, including today which was a nice looooong play session. She needed it! We havent done any outdoor work though. BAD! I need to do that this evening. I've been stressed with school prep stuff as well. And yesterday I had a house cleaning day! But, we are back on track now. OH! And I did take the boys to the dog park Sunday morning, then we had a walk around the park there, and then a trip to petsmart, our usual routine when we go to this park.

Oh and Marilyn, (now Kiley) landed in Denver fine, and has adjusted to her new home EXTREMELY well! I am SO HAPPY! Within a few minutes of exploring her new surroundings she jumped up in Kate's lap for lovin'! She even met her new dog brother already (Kirk the border collie!) and has been exploring the house with confidence! I cannot be happier! :D It was a rough night staying up so late and making that long drive to SFO and back, but we did it! It took a few days to get back on a normal sleep schedule too, I think that has been part of my off-week problem also.

Oh, and in some very sad news, I havent seen Creamsicle in at least a week. :((((((( I am so worried and sad.. He never strays far, and is always the first to come out and greet us. I know this is just the way it is with ferals, and at least we gave him a chance at a life, and helped so he couldnt make more cats to live his life, but its heartbreaking none the less. Still hoping we'll see him again, but I know its not likely at this point. The other 3 are still doing well though!

And, some photos!:

our new fosters:
The New Kids
the black one is Bagheera Jr. or B.J. and the tabby is Pynchon Jr. or P.J. Named after our kitty Pynch and my friend's cat Baghee who they each resemble VERY much!

Dog park fun:

Molly & Brock
the boys met a lovely red merle aussie girl named Molly to play with. we love going in the early morning, its cool, and the park is usually almost deserted--the best time to go to a dog park!

and some fun shots at home, Brock & I playing fetch in the back yard:
